Ce.S.I. was built with the funds provided by the Italian Ministry for Research and officially opened in 2003. Its mission is to promote multidisciplinary research and scientific collaboration among Italian and foreign public and private Universities and research centers. Ce.S.I. is located at the border of the University Campus to which it is connected with a walkway that passes through the Campus gardens. The University Hospital is also at walking distance from Ce.S.I. and the Faculty of Medicine, which is located in the Campus.
Ce.S.I. hosts a comfortable Conference Hall professionally equipped for projections and presentations, an annexed hall for posters and a prestigious lounge where coffee beaks and lunch can be served. Overall, Ce.S.I. is an ideal setting to host conferences. 
Delegates can reach the Campus of the "Gabriele d'Annunzio" University of Chieti by public transportation. The Campus is at 15 km from Pescara, where all Hotels listed in the Accommodation page are located. In alternative, delegates can profit of a shuttle bus service that we are organizing to make their stay more comfortable.
The bus will leave on April 4 at 8:20 from the square in front of Hotel Esplanade in Pescara, and it will head to Ce.S.I. in time for registration before the beginning of the Workshop. The same bus will bring the delegates back to their hotels at the end of the workshop. Delegates interested in this service are kindly requested to book for it when registering for the workshop.
