The Abruzzo region is located as shown in the figure. Chieti, where the University campus is, and Pescara, where all the Hotels listed in the Accommodation page are located, are only 15 Km apart, and can be reached by airplane, by train, or by car.

By airplane:

The Abruzzo International Airport is situated in between Chieti and Pescara. National and international flights from all the main Italian and European cities exist on weekdays and during the weekends. Please, visit the timetable here.

Alternatively, Chieti and Pescara can be easily reached by bus from Rome. If you land at the Leonardo da Vinci International Airport, you can take the train of the Sabina-Fiumicino line (FM1) from the airport to the Tiburtina Station. From Tiburtina Station you can take the bus to Chieti – Pescara. The timetable of the non-stop buses from Rome to Chieti – Pescara and the vice versa can be consulted here. Feriali stands for weekdays, and festivi stands for Sundays.

By train:

If you arrive from Rome, we strongly suggest that you take the buses described in the previous section. If you arrive from Milan or Bologna, you can take the train to get to Pescara. The timetable for trains can be consulted here

By car:

If you arrive by car, Chieti and Pescara are connected to Rome with the highway A25, and to Milan – Bologna with the highway A14.
